Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC) is a not for profit organization representing two major constituents DEIS of the IEEE and NEMA. Its principal activity is to organize and administer the biennially held EIC/EMCWA Conference.

The Continuing objective of the Conference is to provide a nationally and internationally recognized and supported forum, for those companies who are involved in the research, manufacturing/processing and application of insulating materials.

The Conference provides this unique opportunity by firstly organizing a full technical program, which consists of a wide variety of technical papers and also a separate series of short courses, given by recognized authorities on specifically focused subjects, and secondly, the Conference provides Companies the opportunity to exhibit their products.

Typical topics of the conference include:

  • New Insulating Materials and Processing Methods

  • Advances in Other Electrical Materials

  • Magnet Wire

  • Application of Electrical Insulation and Magnetic Materials to Coils, Transformers, Motors, Generators, and other Electrical Products

  • Quality Control

  • Measurement Methods and Testing

  • Partial Discharges

  • Environmental Aspects of Electrical Insulation

  • Effects of Adjustable Speed Drives on Motor Insulation
